Coffee giant Starbucks officially opens at Leeds Arena Quarter
Town Centre Securities single largest asset, The Merrion Centre in Leeds Arena Quarter, is celebrating another international brand to its growing portfolio when American coffee giant Starbucks officially opened its doors on Wednesday 28th August 2019.
The new coffee house, serving its distinctive brand of craft coffees, frozen iced teas and indulgent cakes will have space for around 125 customers and create approximately 20 new jobs.
Magda Kubiak, store manager at Starbucks Merrion Centre said: “We are really excited to open our first store at The Merrion Centre in Leeds.”
“We look forward to welcoming in local residents and shoppers to sample our delicious food and drink menu including our 99% ethically sourced coffee. The team can’t wait to see what our customers think of our new store format and layout, which offers comfortable seating and free wi-fi so customers can relax in-store while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.”
The Merrion Centre has continued to go from strength to strength, enjoying high levels of footfall as consumers and iconic brands show their preference for the thriving Arena Quarter district. The new coffee shop joins a host of other popular international drink and dining destinations on Merrion Way, including Pizza Express, the first Korean barbecue in Leeds Bulgogi Grill, New York bar and kitchen Union Square and Japanese restaurant Blue Sakura amongst others.

Starbucks is now officially open at the Merrion Centre everyday Monday-Friday 6.30am-7.30pm, Saturday 7.30am-7.30pm and Sunday 8.30am-6.30pm.
