TCS strengthens Estates team with new Assistant Surveyor
Town Centre Securities (TCS) has welcomed Hollie Cooper as its new Assistant Surveyor, joining the company’s Estates team with a particular focus on the Merrion Estate in Leeds – TCS’s largest single asset and a key focus for the business.
Supporting the Continued Evolution of Leeds’ Merrion Estate
Hollie joins TCS following a year-long placement with Savills, where she worked within the Merrion Centre leasing team. The placement gave her valuable hands-on experience of the property industry and commercial leasing, as well as an excellent understanding of the Merrion Estate and its occupier community.
Alongside her new role, Hollie is studying at Leeds Beckett University and is entering the final year of her degree, which she will complete while continuing to work with the TCS team.
Merrion’s Next Chapter
As Assistant Surveyor, Hollie will support Charles Newman and the wider Estates team across a range of leasing and asset management activity at Merrion. She joins at an exciting time for TCS’s largest single asset as it continues to evolve its retail, leisure and entertainment offer.
MINT XL, the new 2,500-capacity music and events venue, is preparing to open its doors later this month, while TCS recently announced that global interactive entertainment concept Prison Island will open its first venue in the North of England at Merrion later this year. A number of further new brands are also set to join the estate.

“There’s a lot happening across the estate and I’m particularly looking forward to working with the team on new lettings and occupier activity, while continuing to develop my knowledge and experience alongside my final year at Leeds Beckett.”
