Plans for George Street regeneration to go on display

Town Centre Securities and Leeds City Council have now launched a public consultation on plans to revitalise the historic George Street in Leeds City Centre. The plans include a 126 room apart-hotel and nine commercial units which will attract high quality retailers and complement the existing offer within Kirkgate Market.

The deadline for feedback is Friday 30th March 2018. All feedback gathered will be recorded and considered before a planning application is submitted after Easter 2018.

We intend to submit a planning application for the site shortly after Easter 2018. It is expected that a decision will be made on the plans by the end of Summer 2018 with a view to starting on site in January 2019, subject to planning approval. We would expect the retail units and Apart Hotel to be open in 2020.
