Phase II of The Merrion Centre Leeds Refurbishment Secures Three New Lettings

Town Centre Securities PLC, represented by Savills and Brassington Rowan, has let units 74, 76-78 and 80  Merrion Street Leeds, to Coral Racing Ltd, KFC and KRCS, the Apple Franchisee respectively.

Coral Racing, has taken a store totalling 1,103 sq ft (102 sq m) and will pay £45,000 per annum. The bookmakers has agreed a new 10-year lease.

Chicken Cabins, the KFC Franchisee, has agreed a new 20-year lease on a unit totalling 2,258 sq ft (210 sq m). The fast food retailer will pay £70,000 per annum.

KRCS, the Apple Franchisee has taken a new 5 year lease on a store totalling 990 sq ft (92 sq m). KRCS will pay £46,000 per annum.

Units  74, 76 – 78 and 80 Merrion Street form part of the key piece of real estate on the Leeds inner city loop road which also includes The Merrion Centre and The Q Park Head Office at 72 Merrion Street. These properties are part of a redevelopment plan being undertaken by Town Centre Securities that will include new frontages, elevations, cladding and glazing.

Savills is currently marketing 66 Merrion Street a former night club and 1-3 Merrion Street seeking a restaurant / coffee shop operator.
