TCS works hard to achieve high levels of good corporate citizenship by listening to and working in partnership with local communities and by adhering to high environmental standards. Since March 2004, TCS has been a member of the FTSE4 Good Index Series and is acknowledged as meeting its globally recognised standards of corporate responsibility. Community consultation exercises are undertaken for all major developments.TCS has long-standing links with numerous local and national charities across the UK including LionHeart, the charity for RICS members and their families, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board, the NSPCC, West Yorkshire Police (Community Trust), Breast Cancer Haven, Leeds Crypt, Piccadilly Basin Incentives, Whitehall Incentives and the Variety Club of Great Britain. Last year, total financial contributions to charities amounted to £258,000, achieved through donations and the active organisation and sponsorship of numerous fund raising events. TCS is also the main sponsor for the transformation project of The Grand Theatre, home of Opera North.
