Argos takes remaning unit of Phase 1, Central Retail Park, Rochdale
TCS Holdings Ltd is pleased to announce the letting of the last unit on Phase 1 of Central Retail Park, Rochdale to Argos Extra and joins Matalan, Halford and Instore. Argos Extra has taken 10,500 sq ft on a fifteen- year lease. This deal comes a few months after Wynsors World of Shoes signed a three year lease to take the 12,000 sqft on Phase 2 of the Park.
Argos Extra opened its doors on the 5th March 2009. Atisreal and Wilkinson Williams represented TCS Holdings in securing Argos Extra and Barton Kendal acted on Wynsors World of Shoes.
A spokes person from TCS said, “Argos Extra is a fantastic addition and will complement the existing tenant mix and increase footfall at the Park."
“TCS will now concentrate on the regeneration of Phase 2 where we have secured planning consent for 125,000 sq ft open A1 non-food retail terrace comprising of 75,000 sqft ground and 50,000 sq ft mezzanine. There is a strong possibility of obtaining consent for food retailing in Phase 2"
